Matt Damon is a pretty good actor. I would not say that the best out there, because many of his roles are similar, but I really like the guy and I like most movies he stars in. I also like that he could not take it too seriously, which is indicated by his funny roles in Eurotrip and Entourage.
Let's discuss some of Matt Damon the best films so far in his career.
Rounders is a film that definitely makes the list for me. Rounders is a film about playing poker and hustling. This film also stars Edward Norton and John Malkovich in one of my favorite roles of his career.
Another awesome Matt Damon movie is Good Will Hunting. There is no doubt that this is the film that put Damon and Ben Affleck on the map. In fact, they also wrote the screenplay together, which received an Academy Award.
Ocean's Twelve is another film that I include in this list. I loved the first movie, Ocean's Eleven, but Matt Damon plays a large role in the second war. This is a film in which a Linus (Damon's character) is the major part of the robbery.
Another movie that I definitely have to mention the Identity.Bourne The Bourne films are based on the character made famous in the novels of Robert Ludlum, and while the action is better in the second film, the first installment is where it all starts.
last movie that I will mention on this list is The Departed. This is easily one of the best films of the past decade, and Damon is a big part of the reason why. And Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio are fantastic in this film.
It is clear that after going through your movie catalog that Matt Damon has had quite its fair share of great films.
